The Senior Strategic Business Developer, Financial Solutions is a pivotal role within Blackbaud, designed for an experienced sales and business leader with a profound understanding of sales, financial information systems, and accounting, particularly within the context of Blackbaud's Financial Solutions pillar. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to cultivate and nurture relationships with C-level decision-makers, demonstrating a high level of comfort in a matrixed environment. This role requires coordination across various stakeholders to lead and drive key sales strategy and enablement initiatives, including taking on an advisory role in leading deal pursuits. In this position, you will be responsible for driving Financial Edge bookings and ensuring accountability across all sales teams, including Commercial, Enterprise, and Strategic, within assigned verticals. You will deliver results against bookings targets and help build and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Financial Solutions. A significant aspect of your role will involve expanding market coverage and penetration of the client base, consistently championing the value of Blackbaud's Financial Solutions. You will also play a crucial role in developing sales talent capable of selling financial solutions across both Commercial and Enterprise sales teams through various enablement programs. Coaching Account Executives and Sales Managers during Financial Solutions deal pursuits and conducting enablement workshops will be key responsibilities. Additionally, you will maintain the “FE Selling Guide” and produce sales enablement programs and content as needed. Your efforts will extend to building impactful demand generation campaigns and collaborating with Product Marketing to create market-facing messaging and collateral. Navigating matrixed relationships with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success will be essential to drive initiatives forward and achieve results. You will also participate in sales forecasting, ensuring shared accountability for forecast accuracy, and act as a brand ambassador for Blackbaud Financial Solutions, influencing post-sale relationships with clients and partnering with Customer Success to enhance onboarding and account penetration.
