About The Position

Overview: Responds to request for proposals (RFPs), due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and presentations and developing other sales support materials to generate new business and retain clients across all business lines. Primary Responsibilities: Interact with sales teams, Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors, Product Managers, Performance team, subject matter experts and senior management to support creation and development of winning proposals and presentations to prospects and clients. Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure developed materials are fully compliant with all related laws and regulations. Maintain ownership of all assigned projects through sales cycle, including meeting all deadlines. Ensure internal reporting is complete and accurate for deal flow. Utilize internal and external systems to research new business opportunities. Partner with Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and brand delivery for all material developed. Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand. Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. Complete other related duties as assigned. Scope of Responsibilities: The incumbent works independently under limited supervision and requires substantial interaction with internal and external contacts to obtain pertinent information. The position serves in partnership with members of the Sales Resource Team and fellow employees. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

  • Proficiency with pertinent word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
