About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • One to two years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Proof of auto insurance (SR-22 is not acceptable).
  • Own means of reliable transportation.
  • Prefer beverage sales and/or merchandising experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned territory by keeping abreast of business conditions and recognizing new opportunities.
  • Develop trust and confidence of the retailer as a merchandising consultant.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to solicit orders and engage with customers.
  • Prepare for sales calls by establishing customer history and knowledge of the company's abilities.
  • Maximize sales results through effective planning and execution of objectives.
  • Make persuasive presentations and handle customer inquiries.
  • Understand and apply in-store merchandising principles.
  • Ensure products are properly rotated, cleaned, and stocked.
  • Adhere to the company's professional dress and appearance policy.
