SUMMARY: The Sales Representative is an entry level position that will work with cross functional parts of the business to maximize sales revenue on commodity products. This position will sell overflows of products from current facilities and product out of cold storages to new and current customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in poultry, customer sales or related industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal
  • Proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft applications (Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Identify and market commodity services to customers by managing relationships with current customers and prospecting new through face-to-face visits and phone interactions.
  • Determine daily and weekly pricing quotes based on commodity market data and trends
  • Work with Sales and Production Planning team to understand product availability and customer market segments.
  • Work closely with transportation to properly communicate delivery and expected leave times.
  • Attend food shows and customer related events to support the business.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly tracking reports to communicate to management and monitor progress.
