The title sales representative calls on realtors, lenders, escrow companies and builders/commercial realtors in order to produce title and escrow business for company. Provide personalized professional service to clients to establish relationships which result in recurring title orders. Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) Common job activities are listed below; actual position responsibilities may vary. Refer to your manager or human resources for specific duties and performance expectations. 1. Develop relationships with agents, attend meetings as needed on a regular basis (real estate boards, builders, mortgage bankers, etc.), continue agent relationships that have moved on from the company brand(s), and make initial and follow-up contacts as needed to build and sustain book of business. (50-65%) 2. Retain and grow current business through presentation of title and escrow products and active participation in agent sales meetings at company and independent offices, effective use of marketing and other materials available, and proactive identification of potential closing issues, working with title unit and management to determine solutions before issues arise. (20-25%) 3. Build business plan and set goals to attain a minimum of 50% usage in assigned company offices while also building business from sources outside the company. (10-15%) 4. Adhere to company policies and procedures and perform other duties as requested or assigned. (5‑10%) Performance Expectations Meet all performance and behavior expectations outlined in the company performance appraisal form or communicated by management. Perform responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism. Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers and business partners. Demonstrate the behavioral and technical competencies necessary to effectively complete job responsibilities. Take personal initiative for technical and professional development.
