What You’ll Do as a Sales Representative In this key role, you’ll help power our customers’ success while executing effective sales strategies and ensuring an outstanding customer experience from start to finish.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred
  • Proven sales experience—business-to-business experience preferred
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within the electrical distribution industry
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Monday–Friday (Typical Business Hours)
  • 50%+ of your time will be spent in the office/on the computer
  • Flexibility to participate in customer/vendor events
  • Some travel required 10-20%

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales budget process and consistently achieve sales goals
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to grow market share
  • Participate in joint sales calls with targeted customers
  • Prepare customer quotes and manage opportunities in the CRM system
  • Process customer orders and requests for products and services
  • Monitor back orders and ensure on-time delivery
  • Identify opportunities to train customers on product applications
  • Collaborate with internal departments to meet and exceed customer expectations
