About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to support business development activities for a specialized medical device contract manufacturing organization (CMO). Our company provides manufacturing and assembly services for heart valve components, bovine and porcine pericardial tissue patches, and custom medical device assemblies. This role is ideal for candidates with approximately 2+ years of sales experience who are interested in working in a technical, regulated medical device environment. The Sales Representative will support new customer acquisition, manage existing accounts, and collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams to deliver customer solutions. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience (medical device, technical sales, or related industry preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand technical products and manufacturing processes.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with medical device contract manufacturing (CMO) or OEM partnerships.
  • Understanding of FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to cardiovascular, structural heart, or implantable medical devices.
  • Familiarity with CE Marking, EU MDR, or Class III medical device requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with medical device OEM customers.
  • Promote contract manufacturing services including heart valve components, tissue processing, and custom assemblies.
  • Manage sales lifecycle from lead generation through proposal development and contract execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and regulatory teams to prepare technical quotations.
  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline tracking and sales reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and support long-term partnerships.
  • Coordinate customer meetings, facility visits, and technical reviews.
  • Support early-stage discussions for Class III implantable and cardiovascular device projects.
