This role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, promoting our range of food products, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in the food distribution or related industry.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Highly motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license, updated vehicle insurance and reliable transportation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of food products, distribution, and the food service industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, including retailers, restaurants, and foodservice businesses.
  • Identify and target new sales opportunities within your assigned territory.
  • Promote our diverse food product range to potential clients.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Preparing and presenting sales proposals and contracts
  • Maintain and update customer records in various systems.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to align sales strategies and ensure timely product delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
