About The Position

Premiere Kubota is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable sales professional to join our team. This role is primarily store-based, focusing on showcasing our premium inventory to walk-in customers while maintaining a strong outside sales presence within the community. As a Sales Representative, you will act as a trusted advisor, utilizing a consultative approach to understand each customer’s equipment requirements. You will be the bridge between the showroom floor and the field, ensuring our clients receive top-tier solutions whether they are visiting our dealership or working on-site.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in sales or customer relations (Agricultural or Heavy Equipment industry preferred).
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical features simply.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to safely operate and demonstrate heavy machinery.
  • Drive: Self-motivated with a proven track record of hitting targets and a customer-first mindset.
  • Software: Proficiency in CRM or sales tracking software.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Licensing: Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Product Showcasing: Lead in-store tours, highlighting the features and benefits of new and used Kubota equipment.
  • Walk-in Sales: Be the primary point of contact for customers visiting the dealership, providing expert advice and immediate assistance.
  • Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Parts and Service departments to ensure a seamless "total package" experience for the customer, including maintenance plans and attachments.
  • Consultative Sales: Use direct face-to-face contact to ensure customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships across Allamakee, Winneshiek, Howard, Fayette, and Clayton counties.
  • Territory Management: Drive sales by promoting a full line of equipment and shop capabilities.
  • Account Development: Maintain loyal accounts while actively penetrating new market sectors.
  • Marketing Efforts: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute territory-specific strategies.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct hands-on equipment demos both at the dealership and occasionally at customer locations if necessary to prove performance and value.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas.
  • Reporting: Maintain consistent communication with leadership regarding market trends and sales progress via weekly call reports.
