Home Energy Specialist Position Type: Full-time, Sales exempt position. Job Summary: The Home Energy Specialist is responsible for helping homeowners become more energy efficient by performing Energize CT energy assessments. This role will be modeling homes in energy efficiency software, diagnosing energy usage problems and recommending energy saving measures such as insulation, and high efficiency heating and cooling. Utilize energy efficiency software to model homes and generate comprehensive energy savings reports. Recommend energy-saving measures such as insulation, LED lighting, and high-efficiency HVAC systems. Sales and Customer Service: Initiate sale and secure service contracts. Provide exceptional customer service and educate homeowners on energy efficiency benefits. Use effective sales techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals. Organize and guide customer through paperwork processes. Installation and Documentation: Install energy-saving products during assessments Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly. Professional Development and Collaboration: Continually improve product knowledge and sales skills through ongoing learning, including staying informed on the latest energy-saving options and technologies. Collaborate with internal divisions to cross-sell products and services. Perform additional tasks as required.
