About The Position

To maximize the sales of supplier brands to the trade and consumer through effective territory planning, selling, merchandising, and communicating that permits achievement of company and supplier goals. The sales rep will be working in North Jersey. It is preferred that the incumbent is bilingual and has 2+ years of sales experience.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
  • Proficient PC, iPad and MS Office skills
  • Must be a detail and results-oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • At least 2 years account selling experience, industry experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan times and activities toward achieving of Company and supplier volume, distribution, promoting displays, and shelf/cold box management and merchandising goals within the assigned accounts and, in on-premise accounts, wine list promotions, drink lists, food menu marketing, and back bar merchandising goals
  • Deliver sales presentations toward achieving Company goals (e.g. brand building goals) and supplier goals (e.g. quotas) and to utilize all marketing and promotional opportunities available to ensure sell through and continued sales of the Company product line
  • Familiarize himself/herself with all suppliers and their brands aimed at achieving positive consumer reaction
  • Maintain account records in accordance with published Company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all federal, state, local laws, rules and regulations.
