The Joplin Globe is looking for an experienced multi-media sales representative to join our advertising sales team. It's a competitive, deadline driven, creative work environment with a professional atmosphere. The printed and digital media products and services we represent are established and recognized throughout our four-state market region. The right candidate is highly organized, results oriented and motivated by financial and professional achievement. This is a full time, outside advertising sales position. Customers include, but are not limited to, local retail shops, financial services, restaurants, medical services, and any business that wants to reach our readers. This position drives new business development and maintaining current clients. We provide product and sales training, but the successful candidate will bring a certain level of interpersonal skills to the job. Outside sales or telephone sales experience, and digital space knowledge preferred. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills - in person and with electronic means of communication. MS Office Suite, Power Point and Excel.
