About The Position

Responsible for gaining an understanding of products and services, developing and building customer relationships, while learning how to promote, estimate and sell fire protection systems, repairs and upgrades to existing and new clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or 1-2 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Gain a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services.
• Learn how to develop a positive ongoing relationship with existing and new customers, general contractors and end users.
• Acquire knowledge of how to prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
• Learn how to determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy.
• Begin establishing contact with prospects and qualifying potential buyers of Fire Protection contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies.
• Learn how to estimate small projects including fixed price service as required in addition to large projects ranging from $100k-$1MM+, and manage projects as changes occur.
• Attend job walks and construction meetings as needed.
