Job Purpose The ProSales Associate position is designed to develop the candidate’s knowledge of the equipment rental industry. In this entry level role, you will be able to answer product and service questions, process rental orders, and fulfill our customers’ needs with accuracy and efficiency. Requirements

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to make outbound calls and generate sales.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Active participation in Herc Rentals Safety Culture, always prioritizing the safety of team members and customers alike.
  • Demonstrate initiative and strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills while maintaining a professional customer service focused attitude.
  • A valid driver’s license or working towards a full driver’s license.
  • A clean and recent driver’s abstract will be required.
  • Recent University or College Graduate
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited post-secondary institution in a sales, business or related program
  • Less than 5 Years Work Experience
  • A keen interest in advancing a career in sales

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound calls and deal with walk-in customers in a timely manner.
  • Answer all email inquiries.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and deal with any issues or concerns.
  • Provide customers with expert advice on the selection and operation of all the various types of tools and equipment.
  • Generate additional sales revenue through superior customer service on all existing orders.
  • Write up rental agreements.
  • Source available equipment from other branches within the region.
  • Schedule delivery and pick up of equipment.
  • Support all team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
