About The Position

The Sales Representative will manage an assigned territory by keeping abreast of business conditions, recognizing new opportunities within each account, and maintaining necessary account records. The role involves developing trust and confidence with retailers as a merchandising consultant, compiling lists of prospective customers for sales leads, and traveling throughout the assigned territory to solicit orders or engage with customers. The Sales Representative will prepare for sales calls by establishing customer history and credit information, and will be responsible for timely reporting to sales management on various sales distribution and promotion issues. The position also requires maximizing sales results through effective planning and execution of objectives, making persuasive presentations, and demonstrating products. Additionally, the Sales Representative will ensure proper merchandising and servicing of products in retail accounts, adhering to company policies and maintaining a positive image.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • One to two years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Proof of auto insurance (SR-22 is not acceptable).
  • Own means of reliable transportation.
  • Prefer beverage sales and/or merchandising experience.
  • Knowledge of the local market and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision.
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle competing priorities.
