This role is a critical growth driver for the Minnesota commercial roofing market, responsible for expanding system sales, deepening customer partnerships, and delivering profitable growth across distributors, contractors, building owners, and design firms. What Success Looks Like in This Role You will be successful in this position by consistently delivering growth, influence, and trust across your territory: Grow territory revenue and profitability by expanding insulation and commercial roofing system sales year over year. Win new business by identifying, targeting, and converting new contractors, distributors, and specification opportunities. Increase specification rate with architects, consultants, and building owners by positioning JM systems early in the design phase. Protect and expand existing accounts by delivering value, technical expertise, and responsive service. Execute disciplined pricing and bid strategies that support margin objectives and minimize price deviations. Be recognized as a trusted advisor—not just a salesperson—across the Minnesota market. Your Day-to-Day Impact Own and execute a territory sales strategy aligned to growth, market share, and profitability objectives. Make direct, high-impact sales calls on contractors, distributors, building owners, and design professionals. Drive system-based selling, positioning JM as a total roofing solution—not a commodity supplier. Partner with internal technical, marketing, and operations teams to move opportunities from concept to close. Provide technical guidance, product training, and system education to customers and influencers. Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, protecting long-term relationships. Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, pricing trends, and channel dynamics—and adjust strategy accordingly. Forecast sales by product line and customer, managing territory expenses and pipeline health. Represent JM at job sites, customer facilities, and industry events throughout the state.
