About The Position

As a Sales Representative, you'll be selling and promoting the products and services of the world leader in the healthcare reprocessing market, Stryker Sustainability Solutions. Our customers rely on you to help them meet their current needs and goals. Your ability to create and develop influential relationships with your customers will serve them well and develop your business to meet territory performance and growth objectives. Through a defined and strategic plan, you'll influence all levels of hospital personnel including but not limited to Surgeons, Specialty Surgeons, administrative staff, patient support staff, operations, supply chain, nursing, in-patient staff, out-patient staff, and c-suite level personnel. Stryker Sustainability's portfolio of life saving, quality driven devices will align well with your ability to understand and effectively leverage many different products, relationships, and challenging situations within hospitals. Requirements

  • 2-5 years in an outside sales position (medical related experience preferred).
  • A minimum education level of a bachelor's degree or equivalent of five (5) years of commercial sales experience or medical field experience that includes operating room experience.
  • Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build upon customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Speaks routinely with various healthcare facility staff to review usage, addresses concerns, and educate on our program and associated environment and financial benefits.
  • Develops specific action plans tailored to customer needs regarding the reprocessing and collections of single use medical devices.
  • Builds and maintains strong customer relationships to grow and sustain revenue.
  • Fosters key relationships throughout the departments in assigned healthcare facilities to create and respond to new business opportunities with existing customers.
  • Participates in, or initiates business reviews using well developed and effective presentation skills to educate and influence customers to a higher participation level.
  • Builds upon customer relationships and has a strong understanding of customer business issues and aligns our business solutions with cost savings.
  • Conducts quarterly educational in-service meetings on new programs, changes, updates or customer concerns with groups of cross departmental healthcare facility staff across 24X7 shifts.
