About The Position
Global Payments is responsible for selling merchant services offerings to businesses. The role involves pricing, customer segmentation, customer presentations, account sign-up and activation, and account management. Primarily, this is a field sales position targeting area businesses, although some business may be conducted over the phone. The position requires managing a portfolio of clients, identifying revenue opportunities, and conducting face-to-face meetings with prospects to drive leads through the sales pipeline. Additionally, the role includes maintaining client records in the CRM system, keeping management informed of all activities, and continuously building knowledge of the current product/service portfolio and industry developments.
