About The Position

The Sales Representative Merchandiser (SRM) drives sales growth and strengthens customer relationships by promoting and properly merchandising Cordialsa USA products at assigned retail locations. The SRM builds strong partnerships with store managers and store staff to deliver excellent service and create value for both customers and the company.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
  • Must have a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and customer account management, preferably within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds; move throughout the store including bending, reaching, and walking long distances; stand for extended periods of time; occasional use of ladders; operate carts or other equipment; and safely handle boxes, including opening them with a box cutter.

  • Experience with DSD (Direct Store Delivery) and/or grocery, retail, or sales environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales by identifying growth opportunities and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Visit assigned stores to stock shelves and secondary displays, ensuring correct product placement and accurate pricing.
  • Service assigned stores within the territory according to the planned route to promote products, restock shelves, and identify sales opportunities.
  • Use digital systems to record and track in-store activities.
  • Recommend order quantities to support product rotation, collaborate with store managers on sales volumes aligned with promotional plans, and coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Handle returned merchandise, identify and label returned products, and communicate pickup dates to customers (may not apply in all territories).
  • Identify prospective customers, present the product portfolio, and manage documentation for new accounts.
  • Prepare shelving for SKU labeling, install promotional displays, and place point-of-purchase (POP) materials according to guidelines.
  • Take photos of displays and shelving to document completed in-store activities.
  • Ensure proper product rotation, maintain organized inventory, verify pricing accuracy, and report discrepancies.
  • Confirm products are displayed according to planogram specifications.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
