About The Position

Our client is a family-owned lumberyard and building materials dealer rooted in Nebraska for over 70 years, that is committed to delivering quality materials, expert service, and being a trusted partner to residential builders and contractors and homeowners. They are expanding and adding experienced sales people to several of their locations. This is a unique opportunity because they are open to people who are interested in Inside Sales Roles as well as an Outside Sales Role. Requirements

  • Proven sales experience with builders, contractors, or pro accounts
  • Comfort with lumberyard product knowledge (lumber, windows, doors, siding, decking, etc.)
  • Ability to read blueprints and do material takeoffs / project estimates
  • Construction or building materials background, especially in residential markets
  • You must have sales experience and construction knowledge or experience to be considered

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts and projects for builder and contractor customer base
  • Build and grow your sales by identifying and pursuing new project opportunities
  • Prepare accurate bids and estimates for lumber, windows, doors, siding, decking, and related materials
  • Coordinate orders, deliveries, and scheduling so jobs flow smoothly from quote to completion
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for customers making decisions on building products
