About The Position

The Life Insurance Sales Agent role at Kemper involves providing insurance solutions to modest-income families through personal visits and service. Requirements

• Customer service experience is required.
• Ability to visit customers and prospects door-to-door.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with 100k/300k auto insurance coverage is necessary.
• Dependable vehicle is required for daily travel.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report check, and drug screening.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conducting sales presentations and recommending products to potential clients.
• Closing sales and utilizing the Customer Care Sales Model effectively.
• Continuously prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Collecting premiums from policyholders according to a pre-arranged schedule.
• Responding promptly to policyholder service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Maintaining accurate records and accounting for money collected, processing necessary paperwork.
• Increasing the agency size and building strong relationships with customers.
• Committing to ongoing development of knowledge and skills.
