About The Position

JH Kelly is Hiring an Experienced Sales Representative to join our Business Development Team in Portland, OR. The Electrical Preventative Maintenance Sales Representative will play a key role in supporting the electrical maintenance department by managing various sales functions, including client prospecting, relationship building, proposal development, contract negotiation, and customer support. This position serves as a point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and promoting long-term business relationships. The successful candidate is a well-rounded sales professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of electrical systems and maintenance best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in sales in the Electrical or related industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Electrical systems and maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new clients in need of electrical maintenance services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and evaluations of clients' electrical systems to identify maintenance needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to develop comprehensive maintenance proposals and service agreements for clients.
  • Present proposals and negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring alignment with their budgetary and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to effectively advise clients and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, conversion rates, and revenue targets.
