About The Position

The Sales Representative – Daycare Substitute Specialty will be responsible for driving growth across Central Ohio by developing and maintaining relationships with daycare owners, directors, and operators. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated professional who thrives on building connections, closing deals, and making a lasting impact in the childcare community.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the childcare, early education, or daycare industry (e.g., childcare administration, curriculum sales, ECE consulting, franchise operations, etc.).
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong follow-through and organizational skills; you don’t let details slip through the cracks.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve results with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated desire to help others succeed in the childcare industry.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine desire to win.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (local travel required).

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and close new daycare substitute service contracts across Central Ohio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with daycare and early learning center directors, owners, and administrators.
  • Present our substitute staffing solutions with clarity and confidence through in-person visits, virtual presentations, and community events.
  • Develop a territory plan to meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Track activity, leads, and client information using CRM software.
  • Collaborate with operations and recruiting teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Represent the brand at conferences, networking events, and association meetings.
  • Stay current on childcare licensing requirements, staffing trends, and industry developments.
