Sales Representative - Crane Division

Coastline Equipment Crane Division is a well-established Construction Equipment Dealership with multiple locations serving California, Nevada, and Idaho. We are currently seeking a Sales Representative for our Sacramento, CA location. The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling new and used construction equipment to both new and existing customers, as well as selling bare rental equipment. The lines represented by our dealership include Tadano Cranes, Tadano Mantis Cranes, Manitex Boom Trucks, ShuttleLift Industrial Cranes, Broderson Industrial Cranes, Elliott Equipment Truck Mounted Aerial Platforms & Boom Trucks, and SkyJack Telescoping Forklifts. The primary purpose of this role is to effectively represent the company in the sale of machinery within a defined sales area. The Sales Representative will maintain current product knowledge on the features and benefits of all equipment available for sale by the dealership. This position requires monitoring competitive activity and products, and timely communication of relevant information to management. The Sales Representative will also be responsible for maintaining all customer information within their assigned territory for sales management purposes, as well as ensuring the upkeep of assigned company vehicles and equipment. To succeed in this role, the Sales Representative must possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and demonstrate strong negotiation and closing skills. The ability to close sales by effectively selling value and maintaining and growing relationships with customers is crucial. The role involves visiting job sites, offices, and conducting cold calls, as well as monitoring trends in customers' business activities and communicating these insights to management. Additionally, the Sales Representative will need to maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers in securing the purchase of new and used goods.
