About The Position

The Royal Group, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners is currently seeking Sales Representatives to support our Cicero, IL facility. The Sales Representative is responsible for all functions to promote sales of products to distributors and end users within an assigned territory. Manage personal business expenses and communicate sales trend information and customer comments to appropriate personnel for action. The Royal Group's mission is to provide value-added solutions to the most demanding customers.

Requirements

  • College degree in business or related field. Professional experience in lieu of education.
  • Three years sales experience in any industry with preference in the packaging/corrugated industry.
  • Valid driver's license.

  • College degree in business administration.
  • Sales experience in the Corrugated Box Industry.

Responsibilities

  • Makes sales calls to current and potential distributors or customers to promote product offerings that we can provide.
  • Develop a plan to target specific accounts and specific product lines. Communicate these findings to the Field Sales Manager.
  • Monitor existing customers to promote new product offerings, check inventories, conduct sales meetings with new offerings, conduct product knowledge sessions and assist with any problem resolutions with accounts assigned.
  • Review and monitor distributor performance of orders received shipments and product quantities. Communicate the findings so any opportunities are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Perform product demonstrations and instructions to new perspective customers within the territory assigned.
  • Represent the company and participate in Company and distributor trade shows.
  • Occasional plant visits to understand the product offerings that are being run through the facility.
  • Keep informed on new products seen in the marketplace and any competitors' activities.
  • Attending regional meetings and participating in sales training and product knowledge sessions.
  • Continue to update Field Sales Manager with required reports in a timely manner.
  • Continue to monitor existing and new accounts and when new products are being produced follow-up from beginning to the end needs to take place.
  • Occasional Person Vendor Meetings and Plant tours.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Prepare annual sales forecast analysis on existing and potential new accounts.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.
