Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Reaches to answer phones
  • Moves about, occasionally through uneven terrain
  • Read paperwork, files, and records on the computer
  • Communicates by phone and in person
  • Bends body to file various paperwork
  • Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain
  • Hears well enough to receive communication by radio, phone, and in-person
  • Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist
  • Remains in a standing position if required to perform various functions of the job
  • Climbs in and out of equipment

Responsibilities

  • Above all else, provides Silver Service to Arnold Machinery Company customers
  • Strategically plans marketing to provide for the customer base
  • Contacts customers to achieve maximum sales and profit for the company
  • Develops, implements, and executes a marketing plan for an assigned customer base
  • Prepares and delivers professional sales presentations and quotations to include the follow-up necessary to secure the business
  • Develop and expand the current customer database and update it monthly
  • Establishes and maintains a machine ownership list of equipment owned by customers on the call list
  • Submits a summary of account activity every month
  • Provide financial counseling/marketing to the entire customer base, upon request, to facilitate sales
  • Ensures customers are invoiced and funds are received by the Company promptly
  • Generates Cold Calls to develop new accounts and add them to the database
  • Must control expenses required in transacting sales
  • Assist the Sales Manager with various tasks
  • Data entry and various office duties
  • Maintain a clean workspace
