About The Position

National Pride Equipment is an industry leader in car wash equipment sales, service and installation where our goal is exceptional customer service! Our warehouse facility is located in Mansfield, OH and we are looking for an energetic candidate with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and has a desire to grow with our company.
The sales agent position is responsible for assisting new and existing customers with product knowledge about the goods we provide to the market. A key success factor is being able to make product suggestions and alternatives when we don’t have the exact product they request. Working with the customer on product price and lead time on non-stock items and then the purchasing agent once an order has been completed. Responsible for processing orders in a timely manner and ensuring all financial responsibilities are obtained upon taking the order. Participate in the website chat feature to answer customer’s questions and promote sales. Work with Sales Manager to prospect and increase sales.

Requirements

• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in high pressure environment
• At least 1-year experience in Parts Department operations preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or related equivalent.
• Prior related office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls to assist customers with product needs
• Make calls to prospects former customers to generate new/return sales
• Make cold calls to potential customers
• Process all orders timely (phone, text, email, fax, website)
• Monitor open orders taken to ensure product was shipped
• Participate with Chat online to answer customer questions
• Work with Purchasing Agent on non-stock items
• Provide details of non-stock shipment (delivery method & arrival time)
• Work with accounting to ensure we have credit card info or the account is in good financial standing
• Help customers with any order errors, warranty issues, freight damage from beginning to end
• Share knowledge with other team members
• Any other duty as assigned by management
