About The Position

We’re building a search engine for human opinion. While you might go to Google to search through the web, you come to Terac to search through human opinion. Consumer research teams at Posh, Fizz, and DoorDash use Terac to test features and products before launch. Our AI-native researcher recruits the right panelists, conducts real voice interviews, and delivers transcripts and insights within hours, not weeks. We’re solving a once-in-a-generation problem at the frontier of Voice AI, memory systems, and large-scale data matching. As the world races to automate engineering, the real bottleneck is understanding what to build and who to build for. Terac exists to fix that. We started 7 months ago and have already raised $9M, built an in-house AI panel of thousands, and launched pilots with major consumer companies. Joining now means being part of the founding team defining the next $100B market. We’re looking for a founding sales hire who wants to own huge pieces of the product, move fast, and help build the future of human understanding. You’ll work directly with our CEO to design, build, and scale the systems that will make Terac a $100B company, from our sales playbook to marketing campaigns to partnerships with your favorite companies.

Requirements

  • Generalist Mindset: You are comfortable switching context between selling, supporting customers, and evangelizing the product.
  • Revenue Focused: You prioritize activities that drive growth and retention. This is not an ops role.
  • Scrappy & Autonomous: As the first GTM hire, you won’t have a playbook handed to you. You will help write it and will need to work in an unstructured environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in early-stage startups or GTM/growth roles.
  • Background in the industry or selling to research and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Sales: Manage inbound leads, run demos, and close deals. You will be the primary driver of revenue.
  • Customer Success: Own the post-sale relationship. Onboard customers, drive adoption, and ensure they get long-term value from the platform.
  • Growth & Community: Represent Terac at conferences and events. Build relationships in the market research and product communities to drive awareness.
