About The Position

The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, cultivating referral relationships, and increasing awareness of our services in the Greater Columbia area. This role focuses on sales growth through outreach, networking, and relationship management with healthcare professionals, facilities, and families that lead to qualified private-pay home care clients. Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development (home care or healthcare industry preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within Richland and Lexington county area
  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the local market and referral sources is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Referral Partner Development (Primary Focus ~70%): Build and manage referral relationships with rehab facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, care managers, and elder law professionals. Conduct in-person visits, meetings, and lunch-and-learns. Maintain consistent follow-up and act as a reliable point of contact.
  • Community & Brand Presence (~20%): Attend networking events, senior expos, and community functions. Represent One You Love Homecare professionally. Educate partners on post-acute and in-home care options.
  • Lead Qualification & Handoff (~10%): Respond to warm referrals. Qualify basic care needs and urgency. Coordinate handoff to ownership/operations. Track outreach and referrals.
