We’re seeking an energetic, detail-driven Temporary Sales & Promotions Assistant to support our Sales, Programming, and Promotions teams during a busy and exciting period. This short-term opportunity is a fantastic introduction to the inner workings of radio, digital advertising, promotions, and live events. This position plays a vital operational and creative support role, helping our sales and promotions teams execute advertising campaigns, promotions, and events while delivering exceptional experiences for clients and listeners.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work calmly under deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable interacting with clients, listeners, and the public.
  • Public speaking skills and confidence in live event settings.
  • Team-oriented, positive, and adaptable attitude.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with social media platforms and engagement metrics.
  • Valid driver’s license and fully insured personal vehicle.
  • Ability to lift and assist with event setup as needed.
  • Ability to assist with scheduling Street Team staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with vCreative, Promo, Aptivada, and Adobe preferred.
  • Graphic design skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations preferred.
  • Prior broadcast or media industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Outside Sales Executives and Sales Management with daily administrative needs.
  • Enter advertising orders and continuity instructions for the traffic department.
  • Maintain client records, track sales activity, and update CRM systems
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings with clients and prospects.
  • Prepare customized sales proposals and presentations.
  • Communicate with clients regarding campaign details and performance.
  • Generate sales reports and assist with revenue tracking.
  • Engage with listeners via phone, contests, and social media.
  • Assist with the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of station events and live remotes.
  • Help coordinate vendors, clients, and promotional partnerships
  • Develop and support creative promotions and contests.
  • Create, update, and manage content across social media and digital platforms.
  • Drive audience engagement using social referrals and digital tools.
  • Work closely with Sales and Programming to bring client ideas to life.
