Sales Porters are integral members of our dealership team and contribute directly to the efficiency and success of the sales process.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; one to two years of related experience or training preferred
Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet insurability requirements; ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions is preferred
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, a customer-first mindset, and a willingness to assist others
Maintains a professional appearance and demonstrates pride in keeping vehicles presentation-ready
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the dealership property
Regularly required to use hands, reach, talk, and hear
Occasionally required to sit, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Visual acuity requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

Ensure all demo and showroom vehicles are showroom-ready (clean inside and out, fueled, properly parked, and accurately positioned)
Retrieve vehicles from inventory and prepare them for sales consultants or client demonstrations
Maintain fuel levels for all demo vehicles and replenish as needed
Wash and detail vehicles as required
Transport vehicles to and from the make-ready department, service, or off-site locations
Support the sales team with all vehicle-related logistics and staging needs
Accurately manage vehicle keys and ensure proper tracking
Maintain orderly presentation and organization of vehicles on the lot, showroom, and designated storage areas
Assist with physical inventory counts and data verification of vehicle assets
Participate in weekly department meetings and contribute to overall team success
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
