About The Position

We currently have an immediate opening for a car porter/lot tech. We are looking for a motivated, hard working person to help with the day to day operations at our dealership. Primarily, you will be assisting in the process of the inner workings of a dealership: Moving cars, straightening the lot, keeping the lot maintained properly and looking great.

Requirements

  • Up to six months related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred, but not required
  • Must be eligible to work in the US and pass pre-employment screening to include MVR, drug screen, and criminal background check
  • Operator's Driver's License (must be insurable)
  • The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance.
  • The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Operates car wash where available
  • Follows the quality control checklist; includes list of everything done prior to client pick-up
  • Attends weekly department meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by management
