About The Position

Automotive Porter (Detailer) The Automotive Porter (Detailer) is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the dealership lot and providing support to the sales team. This role is part-time and involves moving and maintaining vehicles, assisting with customer inquiries, and performing various tasks to keep the dealership running efficiently. Our team members enjoy terrific benefits which include: Team Atmosphere Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Paid Vacation after 1 year 401(K) & 401(k) Matching Responsibilities (include yet are not limited to): Verify receipt of new cars delivered to the dealership and park in the car lot Examine cars to detect damage and confirm the presence of noted accessories on the invoice (spare tires, radio and stereo equipment) Record damage descriptions and note missing items on delivery reports, necessary to claim for damages from the manufacturer Register and store keys Transfer sold cars to the new car preparation department Service cars in storage to protect battery, tires and finish against damage Assist in dealer trade deliveries May match serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices Cleaning, waxing, polishing and refurbishing old and new vehicles Maintaining the standard and quality of service of the organization Other tasks as assigned Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record Must be able to work a flexible schedule including, weekends and holidays Additional Posting Information: This posting may be closed on or before the listed closing date upon filling the vacant position(s). Requirements
