We are hiring a Sales Planning Manager (individual contributor) within our Consumer Brands Business. In this role you will partner with field sales teams, revenue growth management, and demand teams to deliver consistent and aligned sales strategies. You will prepare sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and identify opportunities for sales growth. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, while championing the needs of the customer through category and consumer insights, trade strategies, and accurate forecasting.

  • Partner with Trade Operations and Field Sales teams to develop annual promotional plans to influence demand
  • Provide monthly updates on sales performance utilizing data analytics tools to National Account Managers and Sales Directors
  • Lead monthly demand and supply reviews for assigned customers
  • Assess results after the fact to determine impact and effectiveness of trade and customer marketing programs
  • Partner with Demand Planning to revise forecast based on retail sales performance trends
  • Identify opportunities and revise projections to bring recommendations to leadership
  • Help determine with analytics where to play, how to win, and the right GOTM strategy
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5+ years' experience in a role involving sales forecasting and data analytics
  • Involvement in customer annual planning process
  • Project management experience balancing multiple priorities
  • Consumer Package Good Industry ideal
  • Experience with analytics including financial analytics preferred
  • Experience involving managing strategic and tactical trade plans
  • Base salary range of $82,000 - $136,000 annually
