About The Position

The Sales Performance Coach position's purpose is to recognize and compensate Design Consultants who take on coaching responsibilities while maintaining their primary role. This role is responsible for the direct improvement of the sales team’s performance and productivity. Through data-driven analysis, in-field observation, and personalized coaching, the Sales Coach will identify areas for skill enhancement and work with individual sales representatives to implement effective strategies and techniques. without altering the employee’s official job title or core compensation structure.

Requirements

  • Must be an active Design Consultant in good standing.
  • Must apply or be selected for the Sales Coach program based on business need (e.g., size of training class).
  • Must complete any required training (if applicable).
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated success as a Design Consultant as defined by company minimums, currently 28% close rate and RPA 4500 on the 90-day track.
  • Goal is to raise their team’s closing performance above 30% for their team.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data to drive coaching strategies.
  • Expertise in the Renewal by Andersen Selling System.
  • Excellent feedback and communication skills, with the ability to deliver constructive criticism effectively.
  • Proven ability to motivate and inspire sales professionals to improve their performance.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on measurable outcomes
  • Have not received any disciplinary actions in the last 90 days and must not currently be on a performance improvement plan.

Responsibilities

  • Run reduced appointment count to allow for other responsibilities targeting around 20+ per month.
  • Each Sales Performance Coach will work with up to 6 Design consultants at any time to improve their metrics as assigned by Director of Sales.
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify individual and team strengths and weaknesses.
  • Conduct regular call reviews and in-person/virtual ride along observations to provide real-time feedback.
  • Develop and deliver targeted coaching plans to address specific skill gaps (e.g., discovery, demo, closing etc…).
  • Lead weekly training sessions and workshops on sales methodologies and best practices.
  • Work with sales representatives to prepare for key client meetings and presentations.
  • Track and report on the progress of individual coaching engagements and their impact on sales metrics.
  • Stay current with the latest sales trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Regular attendance of scheduled meetings with Sales Directors.
