The Sales Outfitter - Firearms is responsible for both Counter Sales and Customer Service specifically for Firearms, as well as general Floor and Counter Sales of other Hunting Merchandise. This role is centered on providing world-class customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Key duties include greeting customers promptly, handling merchandise carefully, and offering information, assistance, and direction. The Outfitter is expected to guide customers through buying decisions by assessing their needs, recommending suitable products, and promoting company programs such as CLUB membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick up. A critical aspect of the role involves accurately completing 4473 Forms for firearm sales and demonstrating products to customers. The position also entails organizing and maintaining merchandise at the gun counter, replenishing shelves according to merchandising guidelines, and continuously developing product expertise through training. The Sales Outfitter must stay informed about advertised sales, maintain correct pricing and signage, assist with seasonal merchandise moves on the sales floor, and keep their work area clean, neat, and well-stocked. Adherence to all company policies and procedures is mandatory.
