Requirements

  • Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
  • Responsible to ensure daily store operations adhere to company policies and operating standards.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Able to work on shift basis.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods).
  • Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.
  • Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct.
  • Conducts analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales requirements.
  • Understands department activity requirements and follows SOPs, WI, site and regional requirements.
  • Responsible for accurate execution of transactions related to area of assignment to ensure inventory accuracy is maintained at the site.
  • Actively participates or leads inventory related projects at the site to suggest initiatives to improve inventory controls reporting and objectives.
  • Understands the correlation between multiple inventory systems and is highly proficient in WMS and JDE, using their system knowledge to report material availability problems.
