About The Position

The Sales Operations Manager plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day effectiveness of the sales organization. This position helps maintain accurate customer data, supports CRM and reporting needs, assists with sales enablement activities, supports sales contests and recognition programs. Key responsibilities include coordinating sales enablement activities, helping develop training materials, and providing basic insights that contribute to sales planning and performance.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to help improve processes, team productivity, and overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, sales operations, sales support, business analytics, or a similar role.
  • An understanding of CRM and reporting tool fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Completion of a four-year degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating training materials or documentation – nice to have.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Data Management
  • Work closely with the sales team to maintain accurate customer information, including:
  • Contact details.
  • Segmentation attributes.
  • Account metadata and hierarchy.
  • Follow data quality standards and perform routine audits to support CRM accuracy.
  • Technology & Systems Support
  • Assist with testing and rolling out Salesforce updates, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Support the use and basic training of Power BI dashboards to help the sales team access performance insights.
  • Help troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with internal teams to resolve them.
  • Sales Enablement & Training
  • Partner with the Instructional Designer to create and update sales training and onboarding materials.
  • Help coordinate monthly sales training sessions and content updates.
  • Support the administration of sales recognition programs (such as “Closer of the Month”) to ensure alignment with performance goals.
  • Reporting, Analytics & Insights
  • Prepare and deliver timely reports and dashboards that highlight sales activity and performance trends.
  • Assist with analyzing reporting data to identify performance drivers and areas for improvement in partnership with sales leadership.
  • Review phone call handling and queue.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence
  • Conduct basic market and industry research to support territory planning and sales focus areas.
  • Help create product and competitor battle cards and other sales support materials.
  • Monitor competitors’ news and activity to provide relevant updates to the sales team.
