As part of Medtronic's Neuroscience portfolio, the Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Operating Unit focuses on improving lives through innovative technologies for sinus, otology, head and neck, skull base, airway, and related conditions. This includes powered instruments, image-guided surgical systems, and sinus implants designed to enhance precision, safety, and efficiency. The Sales Operations Consultant plays a critical role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization by analyzing sales data, optimizing processes, supporting quota and territory planning, and ensuring the sales team has the necessary tools and insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Strong skills in Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales performance metrics and trends to support decision-making and forecast accuracy.
  • Create goals, processes, and reporting for service warranty conversion and service contract renewals.
  • Support field processes such as quarterly business reviews and other corporate initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve CRM data integrity, pipeline hygiene, and reporting accuracy.
  • Support sales planning processes, including territory assignments, quota setting, and compensation modeling.
  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards, reports, and performance KPIs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR) to align strategies and share insights.
  • Assist with Salesforce optimization, user training, and tool implementation projects.
  • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities in the sales process; propose actionable recommendations.
  • Support ongoing initiatives related to sales enablement, compensation, and forecasting.
