The Job: As a Sales Operations & Business Development Specialist (Dual role), you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, analytics, and operational excellence. You’ll work virtually as part of our dynamic team, blending sales prospecting with sales operations support to ensure our pipeline is robust and our processes are efficient. Business Development Identify, research, and qualify contractor prospects who meet specific criteria for our solutions. Engage prospects via consultative selling techniques, leveraging phone and digital outreach to generate interest and set appointments for sales demonstrations. Link company capabilities to customer goals, overcoming barriers to purchase through effective communication and needs analysis. Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers across a range of industries, focusing on value-driven conversations. Leverage internal marketing programs to generate referrals and maximize lead conversion. Sales Operations Manage and maintain CRM data integrity, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and sales activities. Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and refine sales processes, reporting, and analytics to drive team performance. Prepare and analyze sales reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics to inform strategy and identify areas for improvement. Support the implementation of sales tools and technologies to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. You also have: Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 2 years B2B sales or sales operations experience. Strong understanding of outbound sales practices, lead generation, and consultative selling. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales analytics, and reporting tools. Advanced Excel skills and the ability to interpret and present data. Demonstrated ability to analyze customer needs, handle objections, and schedule product demonstrations. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to think outside the box. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong phone presence is essential. Comfortable engaging with a wide range of decision-makers and discussing business issues from multiple angles. General knowledge of construction industry practices and information needs preferred. Ability to work independently in a virtual environment and collaborate across teams. Requirements
