The Associate Director of Sales Operations is a leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across the firm's sales lifecycle and business developer organization and processes. This individual will lead enterprise-wide initiatives to optimize sales processes, performance analytics, and management of business developer processes. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, including the C-suite, segment leaders, and segment growth leaders, the Associate Director will play a pivotal role in enabling scalable growth, enhancing sales effectiveness, and aligning sales operations with broader business objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 Years of Experience: Direct and proven experience in a similarly structured role preferably within a professional services or consulting firm; more than 8 years leadership experience is preferred.
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics or related field. MBA Preferred.
  • Proficiency in AI tools, data engineering and visualization, and CRM platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets; Advanced excel skills a must.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, large, matrixed organization is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data reporting and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Support organizational change initiatives and culture-building efforts within the business development function.
  • Champion the use of sales enablement tools and methodologies to improve client engagement and conversion rates.
  • Partner with segment leaders and pursuit teams to support strategic account planning, deal structuring, and proposal development.
  • Deliver actionable insights on sales organization size, structure, and strategy through pipeline analysis, forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Drive adoption of sales methodologies and tools that enhance client engagement and conversion.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build sales capabilities across the organization.
  • Manage sales credit and commission validation processes in collaboration with Finance, HR, and Compensation teams.
  • Ensure accurate crediting, approval workflows, and timely commission payouts.
  • Develop and maintain equitable and strategic crediting policies aligned with firm objectives.
  • Support Growth Leaders in goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast staffing needs and recruitment strategies for business development roles.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and development programs tailored to sales professionals.
  • Collaborate with Compensation and Human Capital teams to administer competitive compensation packages, including base salary, incentives, commissions, and bonuses.
  • Partner with Finance and Executive Leadership to develop annual compensation budgets and forecasts.
