As a member of the Sales team this role will manage a team of five direct reports, the Dealer Services Team and will support the Director of Sales Operations & Planning on several key initiatives. The ideal person should have 5 of years of experience in sales and service and a minimum of one year of experience managing people. To be effective in this role this individual must have project management experience and be comfortable manging a team of remote employees. This position is based out of our Reno, NV headquarters and is primarily an in-office role.

  • Management of Dealer Services - Serve as the manager of the Dealer Services team (5 people) for day-to-day support, as well as long-term goal setting and performance management. Lead the team to deliver best-in-class service to our sales reps, distributors and dealers. Channels of management include US/Canada Outdoor Specialty, US/Canada Outdoor Key Accounts and Medical channels. (Asia-Pacific and Military channels are managed separately.)
  • Business-to-Business System Support - Support Director of Sales Operations & Planning to ensure the B2B System (Elastic) is operating smoothly and that dealer and sales rep issues with the system are addressed quickly and to resolution.
  • Pricing & Program Management - Seasonally (Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer) partner with Sales, Product Development and Marketing to deliver, accurately and on schedule, critical selling tools: Price Lists, Product Data Reports and Sales Programs.
  • Digital Catalog - Partner with the Product and Marketing teams to deliver seasonal digital product catalogs; ensure accurate product and pricing information is maintained.
  • Sales Representative Support - Ensure our Dealer Services team receive timely, detailed communications and materials relating to company and product updates, the annual sales calendar, price lists, product samples, sell in materials, clinics, brand, regional and retailer marketing plans.
  • Pricing and Sales Promotions - Manage the creation and implementation of price lists and sales promotions to ensure information distributed to consumers, sales reps, distributors and dealers is accurate and delivered on time.
  • Sales Meetings Working with Sales, Marketing and Product teams to ensure sales meeting presentations are aligned with regional business objectives. Work as part of a dedicated team to ensure that the Sales Meetings are best in class, educational and informative to set our Reps up for success.
  • Trade Shows - Support with the brand marketing, creative and sales teams to ensure regional trade show collateral is well planned, on brand and optimized for Sales.
  • 5+ years of sales and service experience, working with dealers, distributors and sales reps (previous outdoor, bike and/or action sports-industry experience a plus).
  • 1 - 3 years of experience managing people.
  • Demonstrated success leading and coordinating sales, promotional and pricing projects listed above.
  • Experience with project management software (Monday.com or other); able to implement project management methodology that involves a range of tools and tactics to drive projects and meet timelines
  • BA/BS or 15 + years of equivalent experience
  • Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) ERP system a plus.
  • Experience with Elastic Business-to-Business system a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Able to multi-task, work under deadlines, manage workflow independently, and work within a team.
