The Sales Operations Analyst will be a critical member of the Sales Operations team analyzing and preparing data visualizations to support the sales and marketing departments. This role will combine multiple data sources to deliver insights to these decision makers. If residing within commutable distance to one of our offices, a hybrid schedule would be requested, (3 days in office, 2 days work from home). Remote work may be considered for those outside of commutable distance to an office.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Computer Science/Statistics or related field.
  • 3+ years relevant experience in analytical roles, preferably in support of business operations.
  • Advanced level proficiency with Excel, SQL/Snowflake, and Tableau (or other visualization tool).
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy focus.
  • Highly proficient in working with large, complex datasets and translating findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working with messy or incomplete data, with the ability to clean, organize, and transform it into reliable, actionable insights.
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of disparate data and generate compelling and actionable recommendations to C-Suite executives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain KPI packages to measure sales performance, including trending and analysis of seller productivity and sales performance at each aspect of the sales cycle.
  • Communicate actionable takeaways and insights from regular reporting and newly developed KPI packages, identifying the next question that will be asked and digging deeper to find root cause.
  • Create and maintain accurate data sources and visualizations using Tableau and Excel.
  • Utilize Tableau Prep and/or SQL/Snowflake to build and maintain data flows, ensuring accurate and reliable data integration across systems.
  • Maintain a strong customer-service orientation and commitment to ensuring timely, quality solutions to customer issues.
  • Complete ad hoc analysis for sales leadership and executives as needed, handling multiple projects and self-identifying next areas to analyze.
