About The Position

Comcast's Central Division is seeking dynamic, self-motivated intern participants who have a strong passion to drive the age of innovation through our immersive summer experience! Our 11-week paid internship program gives participants hands-on experience working with various groups across multiple office locations within Comcast's Central Division. As a member of the team, you will gain invaluable knowledge of the industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture, and receive exposure to other areas of the business. Your experience will also include engagement and exposure to creativity, ingenuity, and innovation, working on impactful projects with various business units, and showcasing your summer projects during the final Summer Showcase. Additionally, you will have opportunities for professional development, networking, and collaborative activities with fellow interns and senior leaders.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Ability to work 35-40 hours per week over 11 weeks.
  • Regular consistent, and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to work in both independent and collaborative environments.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior business exposure through internships, work experiences or campus organizations.
  • Currently pursuing a major in Sales, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Interest in the telecommunications, cable, and media industries.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with individual organizations and the community to support strategic projects in the Sales and Marketing department.
  • Develop strong relationships with multiple teams to support and deliver business results.
  • Assist with the creation and delivery of presentations that demonstrate knowledge of the latest Comcast products and services.
  • Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Comcast in the marketplace.
  • Support the generation of new leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities.
  • Think critically to help develop and communicate strategies to support business objectives.
  • Assist with developing sales territory, including cultivation of local business partnerships and organizational affiliations.
  • Creatively solve business issues through innovation of new ideas.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
