About The Position

As a Sales Manager, you will embark on a comprehensive training program that encompasses both sales and administrative skills. This role is designed to equip you with essential leadership development tools, preparing you for future supervisory responsibilities. You will be tasked with maintaining and teaching key business functions, which include customer service, development and management, new consumer business acquisition, recruiting, marketing, sales training, and customer retention. Our company prides itself on being fast-paced and setting the standard for excellence in client acquisition and customer retention through effective marketing strategies aimed at both existing and new clients. In this position, you will oversee the production staff of the agency, focusing on goal setting and sales training. You will provide training and assistance to sales personnel to help them achieve their sales goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruiting new producers to the agency and communicating the expectations of management to the sales staff. Ensuring that sales goals are met is a critical part of your role, as is coordinating marketing efforts with the Marketing Coordinator and Agency Manager. You will also provide training on developing insurance quotes, making sales presentations, and closing sales. Establishing and maintaining client relationships will be essential, as will understanding prospects' needs and identifying sales opportunities. You will be expected to explain and demonstrate the benefits of our services while achieving high sales targets.
