About The Position

The Sales Manager at Ulta Beauty is responsible for leading a high-performing team to achieve top-line sales growth while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves overseeing Beauty Advisors and Lead Cashiers, driving performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. The Sales Manager is expected to foster a culture of accountability, develop team members, and execute in-store events that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-3+ years of fast-paced retail management experience.
  • Proven success in driving top-line sales and managing payroll budgets.
  • Experience in monitoring inventory levels and achieving operational excellence.
  • Ability to attract, develop, and motivate top talent.
  • Proficient with basic technology, including Point of Sale systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to react under pressure and adapt to changing situations.

  • Plan and execute in-store events to enhance guest experience and drive sales.
  • Review and analyze financial and operational reporting to inform business decisions.
  • Perform makeup applications and product demonstrations to enhance guest service.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and product knowledge to better serve guests.
  • Maintain regular attendance and hold associates accountable to attendance policies.
  • Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team of top talent.
  • Build a highly engaged team through effective collaboration and communication.

  • Support associate professional development through training and performance reviews.
  • Establish professional relationships with brand partners to achieve sales goals.
