About The Position

Camp Woodcraft has been a pioneer in inclusive outdoor education in Southern California since 1922. The program has recently earned multiple accolades, including national recognition from the American Camp Association and the Senior Director of Outdoor Education being named 2025 Outdoor Educator of the Year by the California Association of Environmental and Outdoor Education. Camp Woodcraft’s parent company, Woodcraft Rangers, is a trusted partner with school districts and community-based organizations throughout Southern CA. We are on a mission to serve 10,000+ young people annually through transformative outdoor education experiences at our retreat center near Big Bear, CA. Our primary focus is hosting school-based science field trips, but we also offer customized facility rentals for educational and mission-aligned partners. We are building a $4M+ annual sales pipeline and are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead that growth. The ideal candidate brings experience in group sales within hospitality or youth-serving markets, and thrives in a mission-aligned, fast-paced environment. This role is critical to shaping how we reach, price, and serve school-based and rental clients—and will expand its team of Account Managers as volume increases. The current annual team sales goal is $3M, with clear activity and conversion benchmarks set for each sales contributor. Our new Sales Manager will lead with authentic connection and will be ultimately focused on the impact of young people their work makes possible. They will understand their team’s work must support the quality, care and responsibility of our programs so that we maintain our trusted reputation as we scale services to students, youth and families.
