The Sales Manager is responsible for developing, coaching, and inspiring our sales team to achieve outstanding results in a modern, consultative sales environment. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of automotive sales experience, with at least 2 years in a management role (luxury brand experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven record of success in building, training, and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong background using CRM, DMS, and digital retailing software to track performance and enhance customer experience.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the Mercedes-Benz image.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and mentor Sales Consultants and Product Specialists to perform at their highest potential.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and accountability across all sales operations.
  • Coach team members on utilizing our digital retailing and CRM tools to enhance client engagement and follow-through.
  • Conduct daily sales meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance reviews focused on continuous growth.
  • Develop and execute monthly and annual sales strategies that drive performance and profitability.
  • Analyze performance data and implement process improvements using dealership software systems.
  • Manage inventory levels, merchandising, and pricing strategies in collaboration with the General Manager.
  • Partner with marketing to develop events and campaigns that attract new clients and strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Ensure every client interaction reflects the values of trust, transparency, and sophistication expected of Mercedes-Benz.
  • Oversee client satisfaction efforts, including timely resolution of any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain visibility on the showroom floor and engage directly with guests to enhance relationships and referrals.
  • Uphold Mercedes-Benz brand standards throughout the showroom and all sales operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all dealership, manufacturer, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Work closely with Finance, Service, and Parts teams to deliver a seamless and premium ownership experience.
  • Participate in dealership and community events to build brand awareness and client loyalty.
