About The Position

The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving NTG's growth by leading a team of sales professionals. This position requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales, strong communication skills, and a passion for talent development. The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving team sales targets, fostering a high-performance culture, and delivering exceptional service to clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales goals. Use independent judgement and discretion to generate leads, make calls, quote new business, and provide the tools and resources for the team to ensure they are successful. Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes to drive business growth. Monitor team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to enhance skills and productivity. Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand NTG's client base. Collaborate with other departments, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery. Analyze market trends and competitors to stay informed about industry developments and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations. Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training new sales team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience and success in sales, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track performance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
