Flood and Peterson is seeking a Sales Manager to lead, coach, and develop our growing team of Risk Advisors. Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of B2B or consultative sales required. Sales leadership preferred. Insurance background a plus. Must have track record in production development and coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Risk Advisors: Empower a dynamic team to achieve new heights through your leadership and guidance. Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions, facilitate team meetings, and deliver skill-building workshops. Support each advisor’s development through tailored plans, assist with prospect meeting preparations, and occasionally join prospect meetings to help drive team success.
  • Drive recruitment and bench-building: Shape the future of the organization by identifying top talent, managing the hiring and onboarding process, and implementing structured training programs. This includes building a pipeline of future producers and supporting the creation of a long-term sales academy to ensure continued team growth and success.
  • Standardize and enforce the sales methodology: Champion proven strategies to create a winning and consistent sales culture. Implement and enforce a scalable, consistent sales system aligned with Flood & Peterson’s growth ambitions.
  • Oversee sales strategy and performance management: Play a pivotal role in Flood & Peterson’s growth by establishing ambitious goals, conducting annual business planning for producers, monitoring KPIs and revenue targets, and regularly reviewing pipeline health and quarterly performance. Proactively identify and address underperformance and drive cross-sell and renewal strategies.
  • Advance market intelligence and vertical strategy: Lead the charge in uncovering key trends and identifying emerging opportunities. Equip producers with targeted, vertical-specific insights and tools to position the team for strategic wins.
  • Serve as a liaison and representative of the Flood & Peterson Brand: Represent Flood & Peterson by upholding company values, maintaining a positive image, building client and partner relationships, promoting the organization, and attending industry and community events.
